Thinking to add one Black Diamond (leopodi sp.) in my 4ft pleco community tank, whether it is okay and what is the average market price for such a ray ?

rays and plecos are not a good mix

agreed. tried several times and my rays would get scarred by the plecos. Some work but the stingray usually suffers.

4ft wide or deep?.....deep woud be the choice....It would have to be atleast 3ft deep.....

I lost a large leo ray due to my plecos sucking it to death. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I now keep my plecos in a seperate tank.

It looks like it's not a good idea to add a ray to the pleco comm. tank. and rays are not an easy fish to keep afterall ?

they are if the importer took care of them good...

after they are aculmated they are fairly easy

Rays require a lot of time a dedication...they look good if they are taking care of....I suggest getting a large tank for them and an arro or something like ...be a great tank set up....

Buying a Black Diamond & throwing it in a tank full of Plecos is like Buying a Ferrari & driving it into the river.
