I am noticing that my aro is getting these small black smudges, dots on its tail. What is that? I do water changes every two weeks and my water is crystal clear. Running a wet dry in a 180 gallon tank. Temp at 82, had my aro about a year 14 inches long. I have a water softener that runs through the house.
Before I medicate it needed, what are these black dots? Raise the temp, add salt maybe?
I had a big datnoid with my aro, and the datnoid tore up the aro's fins, but they have healed long ago.
