i was at wal mart the other day and i noticed black drainige ditch rocks that i think would look cool in my aquarrium but knowing that some rocks are not good for the aquarium i hesitated on buying them. does anybody know if these rocks are safe for an aquarium?

You can always try the vinegar test. I usually throw them in a bucket and test the water after a week or two.
the vinegar test works the best if the vinegar bubbles they will change your ph if it does not and just runs off the rock it will not change your ph
