Black Friday bleh.

Well I could write a 2 page paper on it but I ll keep it short:

-went to work 8am-2pm
-came home ate dinner with fam, then a wave of friends, then another wave of more friends
-went to best buy at 9pm Thur to wait for a laptop for $378 (5am-noon sale Fri)
-realized we wont get one 20laptops - 27 people in line.
-3 of us went to walmart for the same price but hp laptop instead of toshiba.
-12-13 people in line for a hp laptop (only had 30)
-got to walmart and talked and chill 11pm thu-5:30am friday
-5am got the laptops woot! (the line went around the entire store...dont I feel luck) -hp pavilion notebook - very decent for the price ($404 w/tax)
-5:45am went to best buy to re-meet up with friends who got digi cams b/c laptops ran out
-8am finally got out of bestbuy and went to the bf's house to drop off stuff
-9am went to circuit city
-met up my friend and her mom who got the last $200 toshiba laptop with printer and wirless router
-cc bs'd them and the other 26 people on the laptops
-made the news b/c of cc bs
-left at 12pm
-took friends car home so they can pick up 3rd car at airport
-took bf's car home
-went and picked up my car
-came home at 2pm
-slept from 2pm-2:20am sat. - got tummy virus
-had the virus relase its fury 2:20-5am sat
-woke up 8am with gurgle tummy
-watched tv made food for tummy thats good
-feeling better now and its 12:50pm sat

That was my black friday experience.... so anyone else have that much fun???? :grinyes: :headbang2

What happened? Circuit City never had the laptops to begin with?

I didnt buy anything , just an emergency roadside kit for 9 bucks at sears..it was 18 bucks reg. price. :(
 
lol. Yah circuit city had the laptops but I dont know what they did but they were telling people they couldnt pay for them yet or some bs and then told them they didnt have to sign up for aol b/c they waited so long then came back out and told them that they did have to sign up for aol to get it at that price and then wouldnt give anyone the laptops and then finally around 10am they started singing them up on aol and checking them out. I dont know why they said they couldnt sell the laptops they wouldnt tell anyone why so everyone started getting really angry and the news came. They were all at cc at 9pm thur night in line to get them.
 
That was such a crock of bull. It annoys me to hear things like that.
Good thing the media got on it asap.
 
yah they got it right after the news left to. the manager wouldnt even come out and talk to them what a da. oh well. Yah, so how many people killed people for that 360 haha?
 
Ha. All I did was buy a 3rd car. We picked up a used camry. It is a good commuter car and much better on gas than the 4runner and RX8. We are retiring a 93 MX6 with 190k miles on it.
