The Monday after Thanskgiving is rapidly becoming one of the most popular virtual shopping days of the year, according to a new survey from an online retailers group.

Interesting. I have VERY VERY strong feelings about the ever increasing "lemmings" syndrome with people flocking to Malls on the day after thanksgiving. I own a brick and mortar store, and yesterday was our Lowest "gross" saturday in about 6-7 months. All our regular customers (my business is based on subscriptions, repeat sales) went to the mall with the rest of the "lemmings" and we sat there wondering when they will come back. I suspect it will be sometime mid-next week, as today proved to be a continuation of that pattern. I live next to the biggest mall in my area, and let me tell you, it's impossible to drive around it. It's south of me, and I have been driving north and around to avoid it, it's total insanity. I am sure the internet places will do fine this year, but I worry for the core of hte american business, the mom n' pop stores that are on every corner.

yah, i did my best not to leave my home on friday. this island is always busy... but friday was insane. my wife went to the store and she said people were literally fighting over things that were running out.

And saga continues !!!

They were raving about Cyber Monday in morning news. And guess what .... Men are spending more than women - TVs, Stereo, GPSs, and other gadgets

PS. They also mentioned "geeky" group of people from APF willing to spend each penny on new camera lens. .... joke :)
