I just got a Little 3" Black Ghost... He is in my 90 G with 6 other fish... Are they normally Shy knives? how fast do they grow? Whats there Favorite food in your opinion? Yes, Kinda slow, worms, peaceful fish, yes, yes. I keep mine with peaceful fish like otos and glass catfish. Everyone gets along really well. The best thing you can do is tilt a piece of slate up against the front glass. I am treated to the sight of my knife almost all the time. I will post a pic when I get back from the lab. One thing that I don't get with this setup is my knife hanging vertically. He has too many other hiding places (under one piece of driftwood and inside another piece of driftwood).

Yep these guys like to "sheath" themselves inbetween something. I recently put up a slate of rock just like cbfreder said, and he slides in there upside down all the time! A hilarious fish to look at! They pretty much eat anything, and are most shy with the lights turned on, but when they are off, they start to rave. They tend to grow slow, but not very slow, I think I had mine fer about 10 months, and it's closing on the 10" mark, so not bad I guess! When they are big they get less shy and come out abit more, well mine one does anyway because I separated him from his other BKG tank mate, and put him into one that hasn't much hiding places for him to slide into.
