black ghost knife absess

My bgk is not eating now and has a slight bulge on his lower jaw right side.
Any ideas mfk what I can do for him?
Not sure if he hit his mouth on the canopy eating floating krill or what it is from.

Hard to say. The best way to tell is for a vet to examine the area in question. If not able then can place in a bucket with clove oil. Under sedation can examine and decide to aspirate it, if it’s a true abscess. No telling how it’ll respond to that or the sedation.

Could just be a growth as well. Is it acting normal?

He is acting pretty normal, but at feeding time he cruises to the top but doesn't take any food, been about 2 days so far.
Vet might be an idea I would be devastated to loose this fish.
