Black ghost knife fish and datnoids

Will a black ghost knife fish be a good tank mate for the dats? I have heard stories of the BGKF killing other fish by poking other fishes eyes!

I'm over protective of my dats lol my dats are about 4 inches I have 3 I'm sure they can handle themselves but I just figured it would be good to get a second opinion

I have a BGK with Dats. My BGK is a possible eye biter. I say that because in a community setting, I had my BGK with a bunch of Tetras and half of them were missing an eye. I moved the BGK to a bigger tank where I had a Fei Feng. It was fine for a long while, but the FF lost an eye and was badly torn up. I can only assume that it was the BGK since the coincidence of my BGK being in 2 different tanks with fish that eventually were missing an eye were too coincidental. I think as long as the other fish are bigger, it won't bother them.

Or bigger fish could = bigger eyes = bigger targets

Only experience is a puffer, used to take out eyes regardless of size
