what is "rear tow"?

Do you mean... if I raise two BGK together...

I've tried keeping multiple baby BGK together on several occasions. Everytime I've tyried they have fought to the death as soon as they meet. I've never tried it with older BGK as at larger sizes I wasn't willign to risk injury or death.

There have been a few others that report success at keeping multiple BGK together, but it seems the odds will be against you...

I've questioned people at great length who found success at housing multiple BGK, I've never been able to find a consistent detail that appeared to be the 'trick' in making it work.

you can only keep large ones if you put a divider in your aquarium. And of course, your aquarium should be big enough to accommodate both.

Could it be that there are multiple hiding spot in the tank? Perhaps this could work?

i've never tried to keep more than one BGK in a tank, but my big BGK lives peacefully with a clown knife and a silver arowana.

one of the things i learned quickly is that each knife needs it's own separate hiding spot. they may decide to be together now and then, but they need their own personal space.

Alright, two BGKs can coexist with each other, with minimal aggression of course. ;)
Normally, if you purchase two BGKs at a small size and place them in the tank at the same time, they should do fine together, as long as you have different spots for them claim for territory. Members on this site have had the same success before. ;)
It may or may not work, but hell, it's worth a try. :) This is the best way to increase your chances of having it actually work. There are other things you could also try, but I'll just stop with this for now.

well, i have kept bgk for years now. i have observed that the bigger the tank or the more hiding spots, the less agression.

but it also depends on the temperment of every fish.
