Black Ghost Knife tankmates?

u can do cichilds just make sure they don't pick on the BGK... I have 12" BGK with 2 bichir, loaches, severum,JD and a eel
 
bgk are ok with most fish, obviously nothing that can fit in it's mouth.ive kept them with large eels and bichir's their a good bottom dweller and look stunning and always have good personality. cichlid wise go with south american and not african because they can have a habbit of being overly aggressive and taking bgk's tails off you don't want to be left with a stump. if you have the money you could go for discus. depends what you like, you could go for an amazon diotype or just mismatch
 
I also had my BGK in a 30gal till he got 6''. Now he's in a 70gal. I have kept him with tilapia,rain bow shark,dwarf gourami,pearl gourami,moonlight gourami,angels,pleco,swardtails,gold fish, carp(koi), and some guppy's that he ate. I did not see any problems other than him eating the guppys. All and all, grate fish.
