I absolutely do NOT recommend these two live together. Even if the ghost knife is much larger than the bichir, bichirs are hungry little buggers and tragedy will ensue. I kept my ghost knife with a bichir and it took a chunk off the back of his body and almost caused his death. Just keep this in mind. Ghost knives have very soft skin and fins- easy to chomp on.
DONT, extremly bad idea. The knifes sleep non-moving for the most part. Last week I lost a bichir and a knife double the size of it. It tied to swallow my knife and got stuck 1/2way.

I've kept my BGK with bichirs the entire time i have had it. (almost a year). Right now its with and ornate and a senegal. It has its own log it sleeps (actually never comes out from) in that no one goes into
I'm sure it's possible I'm just saying that I think it's almost mean to do so. Ghost knifefish are so gentle and skittish most of the time, I feel like they'll never feel completely safe with a bichir

Mine isn't gentle.... always fought with my catfish. And attacks anyone who goes in his log.... my bichirs are gentle. Except my teug but he isn't with my bgk yet.
