Black Ghost Knife

Well,after doing a lot of looking,i feel good enough to get my Knife. My set up is a 55 gal(to start till it gets too big) with a EMP500 and a Eheim Ecco canister. Have a fine black bed with a black PVC pipe in it and a few fake grasses, coralife 50/50 lights
1-Would this be a good set up for him?
2-i was told there not an easy fish to keep (not eating ect)
3-what else would go in nicly. Looking for a good oddball tank. Petsmart has something they called a dragon fish/eel or some thing. Looked like a Bichir/senegalus type thing. Would this be good with mabey a few silver dollars or a severum? Ideas please, im looking to going to petsmart tomorrow..

I recommend loaches and pictus for tank mates. Make sure the Knife can't eat them.

i have a bgk in with two bichirs, and a ropefish. he is the smallest, but he still does well. i dont get to see him eat, to often, but he must be eating as hes grown a bit, and is still alive, had him for like 2 months, so if he was eating, hed be dead .

If you don't want a severum, another alternative is a discus but you should buy them at least in 3 pairs (6 pcs)
