Black Ghost Knifefish food?

was looking into buying a small 4" bgk for my tank, never had a knifefish before and was wandering if anyone could tell me what this fish would eat, and how fast they grow?

brine shrimp, bloodworms, shrimp pellets, mine will even eat flake food occasionally.

Mine eats from my hand.

Growth rate is relatively slow.

live black or blood worms at first,then maybe chopped night crawlers and small red worms,eventually it may accept market shrimp..many usually do.

slow growers maybe you can get it to 8-10" or so the first year and it will slow down alot after that.Mines 2 years and 15".

Mine have always grown slowly. But have eaten carnivore pellets black worms frozen blood worms and pellets occassionally.

i have once before...
just give it small fish.....
it seems that he grown fast when i leave it for a week with the food...
when i came back it seems a slow growing....

i've been feeding live brine shrimp and black worms. i like the chopped night crawler idea; i bet my little dat would like that too
