Black Ghost Tank Mates

Greeting, i have recently purchased an alligator gar, silver Aro, and an albino CKF. I was wondering if i could add a Black Ghost Knife into the tank. I have heard from some that it can happen, others that it can't, so i came hear to solve my predicament. I have had a BGK with oscars, a red tail cat, Turtle, a different silver Aro, florida gar, and vampire fish. Unfortunately the tank got an ick breakout when i added a lake caught Snakehead to the aquarium, and i lost everything Long story short would i be able to add a black ghost knife.......Thanks

I would say no. Being that the aligator gars hang at the bottoms at dusk. And the ghost is active, this may cause a quarrel. I personally would want the ghost to get injured. The gar could definantly take a chunk out of him.

No, a BGK would not work with those fish.

I have a community 150 gallon tank with both a black ghost and brown ghost in it. Happy tank. Anything is possible if you figure out the right order of introduction! Enjoy
