SO if i trade in my ghost knife i get a 22$ store credit, what should I get, options:
- Sterbai cory 3 for 15
- Peppered cory 6 for 18

BGK aren't always active in the day, but a 5ft seems alright in my opinion. Depending on the setup it may eventually become more outgoing

just get a see through cave for him, glass or plastic, problem solved. 5ft is arguably fine, it's better than a lot else out there anyway

he died this morning, even tho ammonia was at 0 and nitrites at 7ppm

How long was the tank running? Any tank mates?

If you're getting nitrites then your tank has not been cycled yet. Do a water change, add some prime and then add some bottled bacteria. Or squeeze out some filter media from an established tank after water change and prime.

That happend to me, bought a BGK one day and the tank conditions were perfect, he acclimated for 30 minutes then the next day he was dead all of a sudden
