Is it in both eyes or just one? How long has it been going on for? Whats your stock and how big is your tank?
Looks like an injury from fighting or scraping on a rock to me. Clean water and some melafix should help.
Would agree, probably scraped it on something. Just keep the water pristine and he should heal up without any visible marks pretty quickly. Just make sure to watch him and see if it does get any worse than it is.
