i've seen some dark colored jardi's before, but i just picked up one that really looks black:

That is awesome!! Hopefully it stays that color.

I think there are times when fish can become either stark white (like the platinum aros), bright orange or gold (like the golden gar) and black like yours. I read somewhere that sometimes they lose that color and go back to a normal coloration. I dont know if its from the genes or what, but what you got is freakin' sweet!!
