black lip?

my small rbp's bottom lip is really dark almost black and is a little swollen. I was thinking it may have smashed it on the glass or somthing , but what could this be?

well it's gonna be next to impossible to accurately tell you what's wrong with your fish without pictures

if you can get him close enough to the glass A cell phone pic at lest would help

i had that happen on one of my mystery fish (some sort of paratheraps) it healed fine and even though it looked horrible its not even noticeable now took about a week didnt medicate

on mine it was bigger about a little smaller than a q tip

it could be anything
but raising the temperature and salt fixes almost anything
