alight so i began to feed the chiclids in his 55 gallon tank, and then out of no where, we jumped up to the top of the water and i began to hand feed him chiclid pellets..he ate about 25, they are about the size of the tip of a pen, but could this be good or bad?? help me out!

i'm a lil confused....you have a BM elong but you were feeding your cichlids in the piranha tank and the elong came up and you hand feed him pellets and you want to know if it's good or bad?

yeah. the chichlids are in the tank as feeders and i like to feed them so they stay healthy, but my elong started eating all of their pellets so i was wondering if it is good he is eating them or bad?

ok, that makes sense. Yeah it's fine....i'd guesstimate 70 percent of us feed our piranhas pellets. now you've got something new to work into their diet = )
its very good that you got him to eat pellets.. some people have the hardest times feeding there piranhas pellets.
haha yeah thats what ive heard, but he honestly loved em, too bad im selling him. ill tell the guy that he now feeds on pellets 
I got one that eats broccoli. But he spends most of his day attacking his reflection. The chichlids don't get veggies now...
