Im not sure the real name of the fin but I call it their "mohawk" - It is the one on the top of their head. Well sometimes it turns black. I usually notice it and then I walk up to the tank and it goes back to normal color (of course, so I can't get a picture :screwy:) Most of the time it is just yellowish/transparent. Does anyone else have pbass that do this? Could it just be they are scared/mad/stressed/whatever? Anyone have a clue?

Thanks guys!

I have seen this in the Monos that I used to keep, the only time they did it for me was when they were all amped up for a feeding or when they thought that I was going to feed them. Oh yeah the top fin is the dorsal fin, but "mohawk" works for me!
