G guppy Small Squiggly Thing Apr 15, 2005 11,595 87 0 confused, lost, and lonely Feb 9, 2006 #5 If you do not have any agressive fish in the tank that could have eaten the eye (by the way that type of wound typically closes itself very quickly) then personally I would destroy the fish and disinfect the tank as well as treating the other fish from that tank with kanamycin, it is one of the indicators of possible fish tuberculosis. Although it is rare I would not consider it worth the risk. Use gloves.
