black motoro

i have a male who is literally black wid his spots. n my female looks like a normal motoro. he never gets lite or any thing. even his underside is dark. i have seen one or two befor like this. is this common ?

There was an old female ray at work who was around 2' disc which we sold last yr, she was near jet black with a few quite dark spots.

but some black sand in the tank he will go even darker.i have a marble that looks is as dark a henlei
