What fish are in it? Why are you using salt? Snails will not tolerate salt long-term. As far being black, chances are they're dark striped purple or dark striped green (wild). There is no black mystery snail.
Dosen't that destroy the mystery, being a certain species?

No, it doesn't. They have been selectively bred to achieve the coloration. Wild color gene is a dominant gene and will not be erased out of existence if that is what you are asking.Thedaniokeeper;2831088; said:
