exactly what species are you talking about? many fish are "black n nasty" even my dog is black and nasty lol

probably odo, aka Nandopsis haitiensis or black nasty

If your talikng about black nasty (Haitiensis) then yes they do get mean and have very beautiful fins. i believe males will get 16" maybe up to 18 but idk. and females around 12" pretty much same size as festea. here are some pics bud these two males are only 7" in these pics.

depends on where u get them. all the haits i bought in the past were hell to raise. this last group i bought were the easiest cichlids ive ever raised I believe its the quality of the fish and where you get them from. i have a batch of fry from each pair left. and they are very healthy with no problems. safe enough to buy and raise from fry

Yes decapsulated brine shrimp, crushed flakes, and crushed pellets. They grow pretty fast
