Black over silver

Ok so I just lost my second silver arowana the first to stress and not the second to jumping out a small space at the back of the tank . Arowanas are my favorite fish and I am currently going to take a break from buying another one. But when I do, I think i am going to purchase a black aro instead of a silver. What do you guys think??

Go with black i say, They are a lil more expensive but hey, its harder for them to get drop eye i hear

Yeah I would get a black I'm pretty sure they can't get drop eye but not 100% on that I would definitely go with a black tho and sorry for your loss

Yeah I think so to on the looks. And I already did! Haha I found that small spot and covered it up with a piece of glass. So there is no more chance of escapes!

For me the blacks are prettier, and one advantage is they tend to stay smaller. My silvers are over 3 feet each I have 9 and the 2 black are about 2 feet each.
I have them in a pond with lots of tilapia to eat. so that why they grow BIG BIG.

Dang man that's awesome that you have that many aros. And that's cool to that they stay a little smaller. I'm pretty positive that I'm going to get a black next time I get one.
