Yesterday i went to Simsbury Ct,to a place called "Emmons"hadn't been there in yrs,but it really is my favorite LFS.So i walked to the backyard and in a big 500 gal outdoor pond he had 2 really huge Irredesant sharks had to be at least 2-3',in the same pond was this 12-14' inch Black Pacu who looked really stressed out,the owner told me if i wanted him it would cost $20.00,so i grabbed him,now he is really happy shoaling with my Red Bellied Pacu,I know that i cant keep this guy for life,but i am glad i did it!!!!:drool:

Well considering that the fish looks alot healthier,is finally eating(was told it hadnt eaten since it arrived at the store,2 weeks)and is with its own kind and shoaling,i would consider that a rescue.Just called the store a few minutes ago and was told he would give me a great deal on 1 of his"extra" ponds for my cellar,i can keep these guys almost for life,pond is around 5oo gal.:headbang2
