I picked up this 5 inch Xingu piranha a month ago has anyone been successful at breaking there piranha of that size on pellets I’m thinking about starving him for a few days to see if he will try them out any suggestions I wish I could have gotten him smaller I figured pellets are good for him I do feed him frozen krill but he sometimes don’t like to eat it everyday

You could offer cut fish stuffed with a couple of pellet. Tilapia would be my choice cheap at Walmart and not messy.

Buy a small bag of Tilapia from Walmart the fish fillet will be individually wrapped. Keep frozen take out one fillet let thaw for a about 2 minutes cut a portion and put remaining portion back in your freezer ?
Please make sure the fish is unseasoned.
