Black Sand for my 90g

I found some ColorQuartz for $38 a bag, but the question is if 50 lbs is enough to cover the 48"x18" footprint. If i need more than 50lbs I don't want to spend $76.

What is a cheaper alternative for a colored sand?

50lbs will give u a 0.76" deep sand bed

i heard someone in MFK say that they bought aquarium sand for 50 cents/lb. not too sure how many places sell it that cheap though
