black sand for stingray

I plan on getting a stingray on my next tank build. Has anyone used "black diamond" blasting sand? is it ray safe? I want a cost effective way to get black sand.

i used black sand with my ray i got the sand from the pet store though so its non toxic to fish but i dont no about blasting sand. it cost me 18 bucks a bag

i am a stone carver/ sand blaster.
i use the same sand that i blast with. its quarts. i have never heard of black diamond.
