black shark with RTC

this may be in the wrong thread But;

the black shark , would you be able to put it with a RTC??????

the black shark is 30cm the RTC (moby) is about 13inc

i know its a mater of time but.

Moby is in a 5x2x2 that will be upgarded sooner rater than later (next 2 to 3 months)

i would then hope that the BL would be ok in the 5x2x2!

i know that black sharks can be a pain in the @#S for nipping fins and being a pain to other fish!

my RTC means the world to me as some of would have seen from other threads on how i picked him up, and if you all think that a problem my happen then i would Not risk it!!!!!

i have kept a BL in the past and he has been fine with all other fish, but as i say fish are like people, few are the same!!!

the best think to do i know is , get the new tank and THEN add the BL to the 5x2x2 But i dont often see BL of this size for sale down here and i would not like to miss out!

any thaughts welcome

iv got a black shark he`s about a foot long, i keep him on his own as any fish i put in with him he kills it, im also getting a rtc as soon as poss but i wouldent put them together as i dont think it`s worth the risk

Weve had the same mix in the shop a 10" black shark with a 18" RTC

i had a 7" black shark and was fine with my old 10"rtc but he attacked a pacu so i flushed him

he should be fine but some will go on random killing sprees and inhillate everything.

yes most the time best 2 put them in groups for being freindly but deppends on the shark

Wish I could keep a black shark with my Arowna but too risky. Ive had black sharks in the past and they have always been fun to watch.

definately. Mine s not so bad with tank mates, but she is much worse with big tank mates. I don't think a 5x2x2 is big enough for a black shark for life though. Here is mine in a 10x2x2.
