Black Smudges on fish

I have a red texas female that suddenly got these black smudges on her. It appeared two days ago. I have attached a picture hopefully you can see under her chin. These same smudges are on her head and side but those dont show on camera well.

What could this be? I have a green terror in the tank who is smaller than her and he looks fine. Water parameter is fine. Temp is 89 degrees( was battling an ick breakout from clown loach that died last week)

Looks like liplocking injuries. My terrors get the same marks when my male is in the mood to spawn. And the terror being smaller doesn’t make a difference. My male was just 2” lip locking with my female when she was 5”.

Just keep an eye on it to make sure it heals up well. Keep up water quality and you shouldn’t have a problem.
