these black spots seem to only affect the silver dollar group rather than any other fish. the black spots look like small pimples. any suggestion/ experiences to help treat this disease? what treatments should i use to fight this parasite? Thanks

Pics would def help, but if it's a growth, it could be ich, fungus, or external parasites boring into your fish's skin
Black Spot is a lot more common in wild caught fish, it is a fluke type parasite. Can you get any pics plus what size are the spots and how many are there?
ill try to get a pic asap. the approximate size of 1 black spot is about 1mm very small but their are multiple spots im currently treatign with parasite clear.
