One of mt fish has recently developed a small black speck on her snout. Since it's kept in an outdoor pond, I suspect that this is a case of black spot disease. I've begun to quarantine her. May I know long it will take before I can re-introduce her to the pond again? Thanks

Do a 30 day quarantine just to be safe. Just make sure that there are no snails in the QT tank.
Thanks, I really appreciate your help. I do have a further question though. Is the disease directly transmissable between fish? I am thinking of moving my other fish indoors as well so that it is no longer exposed to the pond snails. Could I keep both fish in the same tank without the first spreading the disease to the other, provided that there are no snails present? Again, thanks

Don't take the risk of exposing a healthy fish to a sick one.

I might suspect a trematode as angels unless they are wild caught arent the usual carriers of black spot
