There is a little black place on the edge of one of my Lion Head goldfishs tail. I wasn't too worried because the other lion head had had a similar spot that had gone away with no problem. But now it looks like a few more spots have formed on the bottom part of his fin, and the original spot looks like the fin is deteriorating. Any ideas, I looked up fin rot and it says that it is white or reddish. I have started treating with a water change and salt.

If anyone cared, i treaded my goldfish tank with salt and rid-ich (says its good for fungus also) and the black on the fishes fin is gone.
