This is my golden pearl Jardini. Around 5".
I am presently keeping him in an exclusive tank. However today, I shifted him to my main community aquarium (5'x2'x1.5') along with green, golden and red spotted severums. The green severums are around 4". I was keeping an eye on them to see whether they were going after the jardini.. The Jardini was swimming peacefully.
After some time, I noticed the black spots on the scales. They were not there before.
Could anyone please clarify what they are? why did they suddenly appear on the scales?
