Black streaks on Midas fins??

Has anyone seen this before?
My new midas (or variation there of) gets random black streaks on its fins, mostly the dorsal, anal and tail fin. The black streaks will dissapear within a few days. He (she) is around 5".

Ouch, blue gravel lol, he is in a temporary 50gal until I get the 75gal ready...

What do you think?

Mine does too!! I am pretty sure it is a common thing for midas/rd to get these

mine has never gotten these and he is a big by almost 11" i will trya and take a pic of his mean *** guy who got him for me says its a "creamsicle" coloring all i know is tha he is awesome...

I could be wrong but that looks more like a golden flowerhorn than a red devil to me. either way those black streaks are normal. not all red devils will get black streaks like that but some do and sometimes when they do they even disappear later on. nothing to worry about.

i tried to net him to get pics but he is fast, he is in the 750 so i gave up because my aros were freakin out and i didnt want one of them to end up on the floor...
