Yea, fed my baby black throat some goldfish during the "taming" process the other day, Didn't think he would go for them so vigorously! As you can see he really likes water, like He sit's in his water bowl and he sleeps all the time in the shower and goes right under the sprayer..Anyway hope you like my video:popcorn:

I't was just to see if he would take them, I know better than that to introduce them as a staple or even a monthly snack, I have been keeping fish for over i years, I think I know that. Also I know that alot of people kill their mata mata turtles by feeding them goldfish, But did you guys like the vid atleast? :(

Your monitor is super cute and you can feed him live fish if you raise and breed your own mosquito fish and tilapia;)

ok cool , sounds good.
I want to start feeding him more things, other than f/t mice, and cricket's. What else should I feed him?

very nice bro...:):)

Very nice colors on the little guy. He looks pretty friendly and curious. I've always liked these monitors. I know they like raw chicken slabs. The more natural, the better. I'll post some more food items later once the F-1 race is over.

thank you, They run from 89, to 150, all the way to 350+
I got mine for 265. Wish I would have gotten a smaller one, but I am still glad I have one :) Can't wait till I get the outdoor enclosure going for the crocs :)

And thank's all. I will start feeding chicken breat chunks, egg, cock roaches, and I heard from a good friend that ground turkey is good. The guy i worked around that took care of the croc monitors and water monitor's said it was good..
any other things?
