Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between (is it black tip shark or black tipped shark)? black tip sharks and black tip reef sharks, and the difference between Atlantic black tip reef sharks and pacific black tip reef sharks. Also are there any other species of black tip reef sharks. I never found out the answer to this question: is it black tip reef shark or black tipped reef shark?

Black tip (tipped) reef sharks are a bit smaller and a Pacific species. They stay to about 6 ft.
Altantic black tips are bigger and VERY hard to keep. They are high strung and never do well in captive settings. Most public aquariums won't even try them.
