Black vinyl or black spray paint?

Looking for ideally matt black colour for tank background, first question, vinyl or spray paint?

Second question is, where to buy, I'm in the UK cheers guys

Use acrylic paint once it sets hard it can be peeled off easily without having to scrape your tank to bits like spray paint , you'll get a tube from most art shops , even pound shops sell tubes of it , im in UK also places like b&m bargains etc sell tubes of it for cheap

Also if you put it on with a mini sponge decorators roller you'll get a nice even coat with no brush strokes ( as you can guess im a decorator by trade lol )

Plasti dip. Used it on my tank and I'm happy with results. And it peels off if you don't like it or change your mind.

It's a synthetic rubber coating that comes in a spray can. Great for glass. You can find it in Home Depot in spray paint isle.
