Black wolf issue!

Depends on the injury. If it's completely gone the no. If damaged it will probably repair.

I regards to feeding I wouldn't worry. Mine go through periods of on and off feeding. One week will not take any food the next will be swimming at the glass trying to get some.

What size tank to you have it in?

as above; these guys are incredibly unpredictable feeders. Sometimes they're agressive feeders and go through moments of constant, glutonous feeding. Then, you can have periods of never seeing them eat. I'm in one of those periods and can say that in the last 2 months, I've never seen him eat. But, if you're desperate to be certain he's eating, my big guy's recent thing is large Locusts and big crickets and because of the competition in my tank, he goes for them quite quickly.

I and my friends had an experience about its appetite like you. My wolffish did not eat anything nearly 1 month!!!!! I am very sure that the quality of water is quite good, water temperature did not swing. My hypothesis is there are something make it feel unsecure. My tank has black wolf and Bichir in the same size. At the first time they live together peacefully. But 1 month ago the bichir often attack the black wolf. After that it did not eat anything. I think the black wolf does not aggressive and need some privacy. It does not like the fish as the same size. We can mix it with the very small characins. For my wolf, i will observe for few week. IF it does not eat anything i will separate him with bichir.

I am not sure it's a water quality issue maybe an atmospheric issue. A couple of years ago over Christmas both of mine and a friends who live about 20m's away all stopped eating for a couple of months. Strange!!!
