I have a 12 inch holias curupira which I bought a couple of days ago, and I have a spare powerhead, so I was just wondering whether or not the wolf would benefit from having a current in the tank? I've tried googling this but cant find an answer

They have a wide distribution and live in waters with none to a mild current. So a mild current is ok.

Thanks for the reply, I probably won't bother then if it doesn't particularly benefit him

A little different than atf's that seems to need the current to mature/grow. They may feel out of place without it. But probably would be easier for your wolf to eat w/o it. Good luck with your fish.
