Black wolf tank mates?????

Is there anyone who has kept a Hoplias sp Black with any other fish or are they just to aggresive? My mala and erythrius wolves have no problem living with other fish. Would the black be the same? Or do you recomend a species tank?

I have kept my 14in Curupira (blk wolf) with larger south and central am. cichlids. One of mine currently lives and does well with a 16in Fowleri Catfish. They are in a 4 by 2 by 2 though. It can be done. I did have a 12in Midas that went at it quite frequently with my blk Wolf. It would get pretty nasty at times!

Thanx for the info,did the wolf instigate or just stand his ground? My malabaricus fights with my oscar sometimes but is right scared of the channa micropeltes.

Then,mike,dude,....don't even think about throwing that potential 10"-11" H.curupira in with your 18" micro....you might be out 280 or 200 bux...

I think ill cycle another tank instead of taking chances
