So I got a small pool for some black worms that I want to start breed for discus I am going to get. I want to get them to start breeding but not really sure how too. Do u do it in any certain way, how do u take care of them, wc etc. Need help and will appreciate!

(I sound a lot like a official person) :D

I started feeding my Cory cats live blackworms in an attempt to get them to spawn. It worked, but something unexpected happened... The worms started breeding too. I literally did nothing to the tank except add worms in a heated, sponge filtered, sand filled tank. They eat the leftover food I feed my other fish.

I have 2 shallow tanks with sponge filter and sand in unheated area of my basement.Feed em chicken feed mostly.Vac the sand into a fine net to harvest worms. The more often I vac and change water the faster they breed.

Thanks all! I will start soon. :)

can you breed these in like a 2.5 gallon tank? And do they give a steady supply?
Could anybody provide pictures? Would love to see the setup and the worms.

What do u mean as starter worms? I finally got my setup up and the worms are in small groups. No sand though just bare bottom and i put cotton around the entrance of the filter so the worms will not get sucked in :) Works great. They I believe started breeding for some but not all. Very slow. :D But I am patient so it is okay thanks guys!
