Black worms questions???

So I've got 2 new BD rays which are currently eating black worms. I feed them 3 times a day roughly 6-7 hours apart. I've noticed these little white things mixed in with the black worms. When I can see them I remove them. Are these leaches and if so can they harm my rays???

Often, there are leaches mixed in with blackworms. They are harmless to the fish.
