For a while i've been thinking of having a pair of jags in a 48x30x24 125gal, but now my LFS can get some Blackbelt cichlids in about 2 weeks so i'm thinkin gof maybe a pair of Blackbelts longterm, a sblackbelts aren't as agressive as jags, or just a single male. What do you think. I just know sombody who kept a 14" Male and a 10" Female and they were awesome especially when breeding. What do you think? I wouldn't mind keeping a single fish either.

id say it's up to you, there both really cool as adults, if you'll really have to go out of your way for the bb than try jaguars

The LFS phoned back and said that they can't get any Blackbelt, so i'm getting a few Jags instead.

Yep, i'm gonna try and get a Trio.

bad idea, even if there females, if you had 1 male and 2 females, most likely the male would pair up with one, and then the pair would kick the crap out of another female in a tank that small.

3 jaguars just can't fit in the dimentions your proposeing aswell.

Ok, well the tank is back to tropical i'm just gonna let it stand for a bit, all thats it in is a young RTGG. I'm gonna move some fish around in my othe rtanks, i think that i'll add some texas out of another tank to it.
