A while back someone was asking question about the aggressiveness of blackbelts. I searched for the exact thread but could not find it. Most everyones reply was that theres were aggressive at 4" my reply was mine was 5" - 6" and was not aggressive at all. He is in a tank with 2 2 1/2" midas and a female convict about 3". Well, just to let everyone know, THIS FISH SPUN A BEARING He is after everything in the tank except my smallest female midas (assuming it's female). He don't want to eat or sit still for a minute. It seems he's not happy unless it's chasing another fish through the tank.

Just wanted to recall my last statement about how timid they actually are.

I hope they can manage to survive until spring time when we finnally get our house and I can build their 1000 gallon. 12'L x 4'D x 36"H

they can be very NASTY !!!!!

i had one several years ago (only had him for a week) and back the LFS with his mean *** !!!!!!!!!

He is in with other aggressive fish, RD, FH and convict. He is bigger than they are though.

He is still flippin out, just not as bad as the other day. However, I have seen this morning that he has several tiny brown teeth. :WHOA: Puberty maybe?

I put a hand held mirror up to my tank tonight, my BB went ballistic, turned white, and started twitching like crazy. My BB can attack, but my midas/rd is truely insane...
