forgive me if they're not a CA cichlid, but does anyone keep blackbelts?

I picked one up this weekend and wanted some more information on them. from what I have found on google, they seem to be an aggressive CA cichlid, maxing out at about 12 in, but can't find much. my LFS said this one is pellet trained and got feeders once a week. I've currently got him house with my 4 pacu, one of my tiger oscars and my rtc in an over-filtered 125

anyone got any advice/input?

you can also use the search box on MFK.pacu get huge you know,right? i think you 125 will get small fast

yea, I've tried that, too. yes, I do know how huge pacu can and will get...as well as my RTC and my RTC x TSN, my channel cat, and the potential for my tire track eel to hit 3 foot. I'm in the planning stages for a large outdoor pond.

I have one and he is a great fish. He is around 8-9"m great temperment. My last four I had we mean and had to ditch them. He looks beautiful when breeding, totally changing colors anjd patterns.
