well i have this one cichla who keeps looking at himself at the bottom of the tank (its bare bottom) and he turns black. When i feed and turn of the lights for the night he turn regular color. Maybe hes just a freak becausse none of the other guys do this but he keep looking at himself and trys to attack the glass lol!

lulz i have one guy like that.. i think hes just the guy thats at the bottom of the pecking order.. (black sheep of the fam) how else could you explain it lol..

mine got like this after i moved him from my grow out. im gonna add some river pebbles as substrate see if this does anything.

i have 2 guys who constantly try to eat the baby clarias and tilapia in the filter who always turn black.
i also have one guy is very very dark always.
