im still working on the scape, i cant decide what i want to do with it. i dont really want to keep putting my hands in the tank due to up rooted plants although i do like the look. i might just add some more wood.
i had kept RBP's for years and absolutely loved them and still do. i got out of the hobby for a few years and just recently (about 7 or 8 months ago) got back in. i started with 8 juvy reds and raised them to about 4-5". i wont say i got bored with them because they were pretty awesome! but i did feel like to enjoy the hobby as much as i used to, i needed a change. i wanted to have a large solo fish that had that wow factor when people walked into the room and realized it was a piranha. i sold the reds and found someone that could ship me a Serrasalmus rhombeus. i have never had fish shipped to me but living in a relatively small town in BC it was my only option. hes been in the tank for about 5 days and is not shy of people or food at all. he's also showing some nice aggression. all these pictures are taken with my crappy cell phone, so they really do the fish no justice.
here's my old reds, i will miss them.

and the new addition.
