i know that blackworms are one of the best foods for stingrays, and i'm basically down to my last resort because my new "teacup" won't eat after a week. so my question is does anyone know anywhere in ohio where i could locate these for purchase? if not give me a fullproof alternative to get my guy to eat.

might have to order them in.. use them for a while so you can wean them to something else..

also might try Sally's Krill and cut it into small bite-size pieces.. that is what I've had the best luck with.

frozen blood worns or go to a bait shop and get red wigglers or night crawlers....

night crawlers would be too big for a small retic. but cut up wigglers may be a good choice.

nightcrawlers can be cut small enough to work in a jam.... wigglers can be hard to come by sometimes...

my first retic took almost 2 weeks to eat. i got him started on ghost shrimp and very tiny peices of night crawler about | | that big. GL with your new ray.

you mean your local favorite corporate pet store doesn't always have a supply of red wigglers on hand? :naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

That's a nice healthy retic though, you shouldn't have any problems getting it to eat once it gets hungry.
